Supplying South African hospitality
South Africa has a deep, well-established local amenity industry. Manufacturers across the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape produce good product at competitive prices, with a local provenance story that a pure importer cannot match.
So we do both.
What we import is what local manufacture cannot offer. Molton Brown — South Molton Street, London, 1971 — for properties whose guests already know the fragrance from a Mayfair hotel. Kent, founded 1777, for heritage properties where a name in continuous use since the eighteenth century does real work. Both are held under exclusive agreement here, alongside H2K Botanicals.
What we make here is M’STQ, our own brand, produced through a South African partner facility to our formulation and specification. Manufacturing locally means no sea freight, no import duty and no rand exposure on the landed cost — which puts M’STQ on the same commercial footing as any locally produced range, while holding the specification identical to the product we supply across the Gulf.
For a group running properties in both South Africa and the GCC, that combination is the point: one brand standard, made locally where local makes sense, imported where the brand is the reason.
