Every hotel has rooms it cannot sell. A smoking incident, a heavy cooking odour drifting from a kitchen riser, a room that simply smells closed after a long vacancy — and the standard response is to take the room out of inventory, ventilate, and hope.
Biozone treats the cause. Photoplasma and UV disinfection target pathogens, bacteria and odour molecules at source rather than masking them with fragrance, which is why it works on smoke where an air freshener does not.
The commercial argument is unusually easy to make. A room out of order for two nights on a full-occupancy weekend costs more than the unit. Most properties can calculate the payback themselves in about a minute.
It is also the one product in our range that a purchasing manager buys once rather than repeatedly — which we would rather say plainly than pretend otherwise.

Photoplasma, not an ozone generator
Photoplasma is Biozone Scientific’s trademarked technology: air passed over specialist lamps to produce a blend of negative ions, hydroxyl radicals, singlet oxygen, ultraviolet light and a minimal amount of ozone. Those elements break contaminants down through a chain of reactions until what remains is carbon dioxide and water vapour.
The distinction from an ozone generator matters, and engineering departments ask about it. A conventional generator produces high levels of ozone alone. Photoplasma uses a blend and requires only minimal ozone, which is what makes it usable in occupied space rather than only in sealed, vacated rooms.
It treats five things: odour, harmful chemical gases, airborne particulates, micro-organisms, and volatile organic compounds.

Viruses
